Police blotter: May 11 – May 17

This report covers a selection of incidents from May 11 to May 17, as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin.

Wednesday, May 11

  • A seat post and bag were stolen from an allegedly locked bike at the Mechanical Engineering Lab between 6 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.
  • An individual reported that an unknown suspect filed a fraudulent tax return using his or her personal information. The incident occurred at Pasteur Drive between April 27 at noon and May 11 at 5 p.m.

Thursday, May 12

  • A package was stolen from Escondido III Highrise-McFarland between May 5 at midnight and May 12 at midnight.
  • A package was stolen from Escondido III Highrise-McFarland on May 3 between midnight and 7:30 p.m.
  • An allegedly cable-locked bike was stolen from Pigott Hall on May 3 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • An individual reported that an unknown suspect filed a fraudulent tax return using his or her personal information. The incident occurred at Herrin Labs on April 13 at 8 a.m.

Friday, May 13

  • Parts of an allegedly locked bike were stolen outside of the Law School between May 12 at 8 p.m. and May 13 at 11 a.m.
  • An unknown individual threw a traffic cone through the rear window of a vehicle parked outside of Florence Moore Hall. The incident occurred between May 12 at 9 p.m. and May 13 at 10:30 a.m.
  • An individual was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol at the intersection of Arguello Way and Campus Drive at 11 p.m.
  • An individual reported that an unknown suspect filed a fraudulent tax return using his or her personal information. The incident occurred at Bonair Siding between March 5 at 8 a.m. and May 4 at 8 a.m.

Saturday, May 14

  • A noise complaint was filed at 576 Alvarado Row at midnight.
  • An individual was arrested for public intoxication at the Frost Amphitheater at 4:50 p.m.
  • An unlocked bike was stolen from Stern Hall between May 13 at 5:30 p.m. and May 14 at 11:30 a.m.

Sunday, May 15

  • A noise complaint was reported at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house at 4:40 a.m.
  • An unlocked bike was stolen from the Escondido II Highrise-Hulme between May 14 at 10:45 p.m. and May 15 at 11 a.m.

Monday, May 16

  • An unattended iPhone was stolen from a conference room at the Huang Engineering Building between noon and 4 p.m.
  • Parts of an allegedly U-locked bike were stolen from Lathrop Library between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • Parts of an allegedly locked bike were stolen from Arrillaga Family Sports Center on May 13 between 11:45 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • A noise complaint was filed at the Sigma Nu fraternity house at 11 p.m.

Tuesday, May 17

  • No incidents reported.

There were four alcohol transports reported between May 11 and May 17 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.
